Online tools or kilometres between learners are not obstacles in creating a sense of community in learning. The AE-PRO project demonstrates that committing people to online adult learning can be done if there are motivated learners and enough interaction.

Adult education professionals – educators, teachers, trainers, stakeholders, etc. – should have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills as part of their continuing professional development. Currently only a few have the opportunity to attend and participate in mobility activities open to everyone working in the adult education sector. The newly published ‘Adult Education Mobility Charter’ aims to improve the situation.

The final session of the 'European e-training for Adult Educators', organised by the AE-PRO project between May and December 2015, was held on the 15th of December. During the eight months of the training over 5,300 people registered to the learning platform, created in the framework of the project.

The fourth AE-PRO partner meeting took place in Lisbon, Portugal, between 26th and 27th of November. It was an opportunity for the project partners to discuss the 'European e-training for Adult Educators', the main outcome of the project.

'European e-training for Adult Educators', initiated AE-Pro project, started with an introductory webinar in April. The project consortium met last week in Malmö, Sweden, to plan the next steps of the training and the project.
